We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our CTO team, who will be responsible for transforming raw data into valuable insights through the design of scalable data systems, analytics models, and collaborative work with engineering and DevOps teams.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Design, build, and manage Data Lake architectures leveraging technologies such as AWS S3, MongoDB, and other cloud storage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration using tools like Apache Airflow, Databricks, AWS Glue, and Talend.
  • Work with various relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
  • Manage and optimize on-premise and cloud environments, including AWS RDS and Microsoft Azure databases.
  • Monitor database performance, execute tuning activities, and ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee backup and recovery plans to guarantee data availability and integrity.
  • Ensure data security, manage access permissions, and comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and software development teams to support the end-to-end application lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Support and execute database migration projects, both from on-premise to cloud and vice versa.

 

YOU MAY BE A FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proven experience in designing, building, and managing Data Lake architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Lake technologies and tools, such as AWS S3, MongoDB, or similar cloud storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in developing ETL/ELT processes to populate and maintain Data Lake environments.
  • Solid background in database management and optimization, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server (2018+), MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure, and related database services (e.g., RDS, Glue, Databricks).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, supporting both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality and reliability.

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools, monitoring platforms (such as Prometheus, Grafana) and automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of backup and restore strategies, as well as database monitoring and logging best practices.
  • Experience with database migration across different environments and platforms.
  • Familiarity with database management tools such as pgAdmin, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), MongoDB Compass, and similar utilities.
  • Good understanding of the SQL language.
  • Experience working with MariaDB.
