We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in Data Science to join our R&D team under a permanent contract (CDI). After completing your PhD, you are now seeking a role that allows you to apply your academic expertise in a business context.
Reporting to the Team Lead Manager, your main mission will be to collect, analyze, and leverage diverse datasets to address key business challenges. You will design and develop advanced AI models, while collaborating closely with our team to implement innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Researching and evaluating state-of-the-art methodologies.

Prototyping and developing algorithms tailored to business needs.

Designing data storage and structuring solutions.

Developing algorithmic and predictive tools using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques.

Building proof of concepts and driving them through to industrial deployment.

Implementing solutions in close collaboration with the team (Pair Programming).

Ensuring models run smoothly in production environments.

Complying with data protection regulations (GDPR, CNIL, AI Act).
Profile:
Education: PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Technical skills:

Proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Experience in image or signal processing and/or Natural Language Processing.

Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Docker, CI/CD).

Interview process:

Step 1: Introductory call with someone from HR to get to know each other.

Step 2: Technical interview with the Team Lead Manager, including a live coding test (1h–1h30).

Step 3: Interview with upper management (N+2) or company leadership, if applicable.

Step 4: SHL assessment to evaluate cognitive abilities, personality, and motivation.

Step 5: Feedback session to review the test results.
Part of the process can be conducted remotely. You will be invited onsite for at least one stage, with the opportunity to visit our offices — and possibly join us for lunch.
While we prefer that work be done onsite (where you'll find cool amenities like a treadmill, shower, foosball table, arcade machine, and relaxation room), partial remote work is possible.
