We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our PKI Product team in Naples, where you will be entrusted with high-impact projects and the development of cutting-edge products and systems for Digital Identity.
You will work on the design and development of embedded firmware, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, innovative, and high-performance solutions.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- 
Design, development and debugging of firmware for embedded systems using C/C++;
 - 
Programming and configuration of microcontrollers;
 - 
Hardware/software integration and testing of digital identity products;
 - 
Performance analysis and troubleshooting of firmware code;
 - 
Documentation of design, implementation, and testing processes;
 - 
Collaboration with R&D teams and other departments to ensure high-quality delivery;
 - 
Reading and understanding of technical documentation, also in English.
 
YOU MAY BE A FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent;
 - 
Strong knowledge of C programming language;
 - 
2+ years of experience in C firmware development;
 - Good understanding of microprocessor and microcontroller architecture;
 - 
Experience in firmware development for embedded systems (preferably STM32);
 - 
Good knowledge of English
 - 
It's a plus: knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, USB, BLE), familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Linux environments and basic knowledge of Python and Assembler programming;
