We are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Department, part of the Finance Team, someone eager to contribute to the sourcing, negotiation, and management of IT goods and technology services.
The role involves working closely with technical teams, and vendors to ensure the selection of the best technology solutions, optimize procurement processes, and support the company’s innovation and growth objectives.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Manage sourcing and procurement processes for IT goods and technology services
  • Collect and analyze technical requirements together with Business Units and internal technical teams
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications and RFP/RFQ processes
  • Perform technical and commercial bid analysis
  • Manage commercial negotiations with technology vendors
  • Evaluate suppliers and support vendor management activities
  • Support the definition and management of IT supply contracts
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual conditions
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Software Development, and Operations teams
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and procurement best practices
  • Support strategic procurement initiatives and supplier innovation programs

 

 

YOU MAY BE A FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

Hard Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in IT or technology environments
  • Knowledge of IT sourcing models and procurement methodologies
  • Ability to understand IT architectures, cloud services, software, and infrastructure solutions
  • Experience in RFP, RFQ, and tender management
  • Basic knowledge of IT contract management and supplier governance
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools

Preferred Knowledge In:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • SaaS and software licensing models
  • Cybersecurity solutions and services
  • Data center and infrastructure services
  • DevOps and software development lifecycle

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with technical stakeholders
  • Problem-solving attitude and proactive mindset
  • Structured approach to vendor management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Languages Skills:

  • Fluent Italian
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Good Spanish (preferred)
